Some fan artwork I've been doing

As the title says, I decided to draw some artwork regarding favorite game series of mine. I wasn't quite sure if I wanted to post these, but I thought 'Eh...why not?'. Anyways, these two were inspired from the new Sonic game that came out in November; Sonic Generations. Game is pretty darn fun and the backgrounds and level redesigns are quite beautiful.


This one was for my younger brother, who loves Shadow from the Sonic the Hedgehog series. I thought I'd make him a little birthday card.

And finally, I just felt like drawing a picture of Link from the Legend of Zelda series. Skyward Sword, the newest edition to the series, is also an extremely fun game. I'll have to get around to beating it at some point.

New demo reel in the works

I've been meaning to update my old demo reel for some time now. Working on some new storyboards for some small animations at the moment as well as new painting pieces for interior backgrounds.

First Day and new Website!

My joint animation project for Team Production. I helped with some of the clean-up animation, backgrounds, inking, character designs, and color.

Sonic's 19th Birthday Contest (Revamp)

Posting this up here. I also have another animation I'll be posting up in a moment. This was for a contest and, through internships and finals, I somehow managed to finish this in two weeks, backgrounds and all.

Koala Krush: Backgrounds

Hey guys!

So I just finished up with my Freelance project working for Elder Dragon Studios. I have some of the finished backgrounds on this computer to show (still need to grab the ones from my older laptop!). The game is called Koala Krush and is available in the App Store. You can find more information regarding the game here. Most of the buttons are saved as separate PNGs so they aren't on the actual screen. I really enjoyed working on these, being that it was my first time doing UI/Backgrounds for something.

Once I grab the older concept work files I'll be posting those up shortly.

New York Anime Festival/Comic-con

I'll be gone for a few days (specifically Thursday to Sunday). A few friends and I are heading to the convention in New York and I'm quite excited. I will be back some point on Sunday evening so if I get any e-mails I won't respond to them until either Sunday or Monday.

Sketches and some artwork

Here is a mixture of artwork and anatomy/gesture sketches I did. The gesture drawings were pretty random and I wanted to do some poses I hadn't drawn much of so the challenge was nice. The anatomy pictures I drew using references. I noticed I hadn't uploaded these onto my site yet and thought to share them here on my blog for the time being. The second image down was drawn on Bristol paper and inked and then colored with Copic markers, gold acrylic paint, Prismacolor colored pencils, and white-out. Next up I think I may show the Storyboards for the animation 'Sun Tear' that I posted a few months ago.
